Cherimoya, Value Bundle (3 count)
About this product
Cherimoyas (also known as Custard Apple) are exotic and utterly charming. It is thought to have originated in South America's Andes mountains. Their cream-colored flesh is custardy and tastes like a tropical blend of pineapple, banana, mango, vanilla, and papaya. Keep at room temperature for a few days until they yield gently to the touch like ripe peaches, then use right away - the aroma will be heavenly! Cherimoya flesh is delicious in smoothies, sherbets, fresh fruit salads, or simply scooped out with a spoon.
When a cherimoya is ready to eat, it should be soft and slightly mushy to the touch and the skin color will change to a yellowish tone. To ripen, please keep them in a cool (50F) and dry place. Cherimoya will turn black inside if it gets too cold.
