About this product
Sliced water chestnuts. Water chestnuts are indigenous to Southeast Asia and a common ingredient in Asian cuisine in stir-fry's, hotpot, and braises. The name "water chestnut" comes from its resemblance to a chestnut in shape and coloring, but water chestnut is not a nut! It is actually a rootlike part of a plant that grows in freshwater marshes.
