About this product
Hojicha is a style of Japanese tea that is roasted over charcoal before steeping. This draws out a smoky sweet flavor and turns the leaves from green to a rich amber. The Hojicha is then turned into a roasted rice tea with the rice adding a deep, nutty flavor to compliment the teas smoky sweet taste.
