Rose Apple (Renbu) (1 lb)

Rose apples are tropical fruits with a waxy exterior and fibrous fruit flesh that are bell-shaped or egg-shaped. Rose apples are so named because the flesh of the fruit has the delicate sweet taste of rose petals. They are also known as Wax Apples, Makoba, Renbu, Java Apple, Water Apple, and Pomarosa in different parts of the world. They can be eaten raw, like apples, or cooked into a variety of dishes, salads, and desserts.

While this egg-shaped fruit looks like guavas, it tastes more like a snow pear and has a very loose weave. Also unlike guavas, this fruit has only one or two large, unarmored seeds in an open, central cavity. Don't miss out on this delicate, refreshing, and seasonal treat!

The pink outer skin of rose apple is very delicate and bruises easily. We try to ship them as protected as possible but please be aware there might be minor scuffs on some fruits which does not affect its flavor.
