Yuzu is a natural hybrid between Ichang papeda and a Chinese mandarin. It tastes like a mix of grapefruit, lime and tangerine. Yuzu skin and juice are used as an alternative to lemon with a more intense and exotic aroma and 3 times of the vitamin C. The color of their skin evolves from dark green to yellow-green and orange in full maturity, and sometimes with brown spots which do not affect its flavor. Yuzu is an essential ingredient in Japanese and Korean cuisine, including homemade Ponzu Sauce, Yuzu Kosho, Yuzu Sorbet and Yuzu Shio Ramen!
