Liu Xiang Fermented Sweet Rice (Jiu Niang)
Fermented Sweet Rice (Jiu Niang), is also called Sweet Rice Wine (Mi Jiu). It is made with sweet, glutinous rice that has been fermented with yeast, to create a natural sweet taste. In China, sweet rice wine is consumed for its benefits like improving blood flow, digestion, and inflammation. To prepare, mix this concentrate with water, add optional mix-in's like tang yuan or dried jujube, and heat to drink warm.
Note: sweet fermented rice wine contains very low in alcohol levels that is safe for all ages.
