Inari Age are deep-fried tofu pouches (abura age) seasoned with sugar, mirin (or sake), soy sauce, and a dashi-based broth.
Each bite is sweet, somewhat salty, and juicy. It's used to make Inari Sushi (Inarizushi), Soba Inari, and toppings for noodle soups like Kitsune Udon or Kitsune Soba.
