Spiced Dried Tofu is a flavorful tofu seasoned with salt, pepper, fennel, salt, aniseed and dried ginger and is commonly found in stir-fries and cold appetizers in Chinese cuisine. Its texture is much denser than firm tofu, with a brown outer crust from the seasoning.
