Nagaimo is a nutritious mountain yam that is full potassium and fiber. Taste-wise, they are mildly sweet like jicama with a texture similar to taro. In Japanese cuisine, nagaimo is often grated to a gooey consistency and used as a binder in okonomiyaki or topping for cold soba noodles. Nagaimo is also delicious pan-fried until the inside is soft and tender.

This is a Japanese variety, imported from Hokkaido and vacuum sealed for ultimate freshness.
