Sweet, soft, delicate, and nuanced. You will not want these for cooking, but rather to eat fresh. They definitely have a delicate honey flavor to them. I normally do not like very sweet apples, but they don't taste sugary or saccharine because of the floral and honey notes present in them. Delightful. If you are a gastronome who loves trying unique varieties of apples, this one is well worthwhile!

Not what I expected

These are actually the BEST apples I've ever had in my life! I even called my mom right after I tried these to tell her about my latest find. Since umamicart doesn't ship to them yet, I even purchased a case of Aksu apples to ship them to my mom myself! They are THAT good - a definite must try.
